Lower back pain that seems to go from the left to right side?
Written by admin on June 23rd, 2009For the past 6 months or so I have had lower back pain. Some times it is excrushiating, sometimes barable, sometimes none at all. Odley enough, yesterday I had pain all day in my left lower back…now today I have a pinchy feeling in my right lower back. I dont believe it is my bones (spine) because it is to the right or left of it. It seems that when I move the rong way “ouch, I’m stuck”. So I’m thinking muscle spasms? At the same time the jumping from left to right makes me think kidneys. I’m otherwise healthy…just the pain. Any suggestions?
Pain is very sharp and stabbing. Not radiating..doesent go up or down my back. Doesnt radiate through my groin…but I’m gonna do that little “punch test” to rule that one out. Duration of pain depends. MOST of the time it begins in the morning and goes for a couple hours to all day. From Tea’s explanation I dont believe it is anything kidney related. Laying strait on my back helps a lot…but I’m, of course, not always able to do that. First step…new mattress….second step 6 ibuprofin in 24 hr period. All at the same time if necessary. lol (otc of course.) No relief I guess I will have to break down and see the doc. Oh, and by the way, ya know how sometimes you have one of those “twitches” in your eye that bug you FOREVER!? I had that yesterday in my back where I had the pain.
