Upper back and neck pain?

Ok, so yesterday I was out riding at my teacher barn, practicing jumping. I am not a very good jumper, so the jumps were fairly low. one jump I got a little bit ahead of the horse, and the horse got a bit too excited and took a huge leap over the jump. I fell forward, over the neck and landed on my right side. luckily the horse was trained to stop whenever the rider gets off, so I was not stepped on and I was wearing my helmet as always. I got the air knocked out of my lungs, but overall felt fairly fine.

so heres the problem. This morning I went out to the barn again to ride. I did some few chores to pay for my lessons, and my back felt a little bit painful, but it was barely noticeable. Then I went out to ride. when I started cantering my upper back and neck starting to hurt very badly. Now it doesn’t hurt as bad, mainly because I am not moving as much, but it still hurts. I’m leaving for D.C. in a few days, so going to a doctor really wouldn’t be convenient. I am just wondering if th

I am just wondering if this is something I should be worried about, or if its something that will heal on its own. Also, are there any suggestions on how to get rid of the pain
